The Art of Home-Making Mondays ~ Please Join Us ~ Link Up 122

“The simple truth - every day is precious.
When it's gone, it never comes back to you.”
There are so many wonderful features in the making of a home. This is a place where I would love for you to share your love for anything home-related. Homemakinghomeschooling and homesteading are all a part of the lovely art of home-making!

~~Please link up posts in the spirit of Titus 2 and Proverbs 31 (such as recipes, godly encouragement, DIY's, frugal living, child-raising, medicine making, preparedness, gardening, home decoration, school lessons, sewing, crafts, etc). ~~ You are welcome to share as many posts as you like!

* Presenting our potpourri of monthly features from August.
Please visit a few of these posts and leave some comment love! *

~ Some Back to School Inspiration ~

1. Sure-Fire Ways to Sabotage Your Homeschool by Pat and Candy ~ These ladies sure know what they are talking about! I highly recommend this for new homeschooling mothers especially!

2. Top 5 Essential Oils for Back to School by The Herbal Spoon ~ I liked the idea of placing a diffuser in our homeschool to provide all the brain benefits a good scholar needs :)

3. Nature Scavenger Hunt Printable by Morning Motivated Mom ~ School needn't start off with books. It can also begin with some outdoor nature study adventure! Visit this post for the fun printable.

4. DIY Bird Feeder by The (mis)Adventures of a Born Again Farmgirl ~ This is fun craft to do that will bring the birds to your schoolroom! Just place one strategically by your schoolroom window and start sketching and studying!

5. Why We Love Notebooking by Royal Little Lambs ~ We do notebooking concepts in our homeschool and we absolutely love it! They are much more creative and inspiring than a fill in the blank worksheet. I encourage you to visit this post if you need to change up your homeschool strategy.

~ And a Bit of Homemaking ~

6. The Heart of the Home by Delightful Handwork ~ Join Miss Michelle as she takes you on a tour of her sister's darling kitchen. There is a lot of creativity here and I gleaned many ideas.

7. All in One Beef Stroganoff Pasta by Chic Mummy ~ I love one-pot recipes and this one looks delicious!

8. How I Got 4 for Just a Bit More Than the Price of 1 by If You Do Stuff, Stuff Gets Done ~ This idea is quite genius (especially with the crazy price of hand towels)! It also opens up many other inspirations for frugal linen shopping! Once again, brilliant Rhonda!

9. Not Always Blood by Joy in the Middle ~ I really loved what Patti shared! It is especially an important message for empty nesters or those women who do not live near family. What a blessing you can be to others! A must read.

10. A Pottery Barn Look for a Sweet Trestle Table by Old Things New ~  Patti shares how she turned a thrifted $24 table into a Pottery Barn masterpiece. Ladies, you can even refurbish pieces of your own furniture quite frugally with a bit of elbow grease. What a rich looking finish!

  12. Thank you for featuring my "Not Always Blood" post. It's an honor to be featured at your lovely blog.

I really love that Emilie Barnes quote. Such wise words. Once today is gone, it becomes a yesterday that we can't get back. Oh, may we all make wise use of our todays.

    Blessings to you,
    Patti
